4. Heretical New Age Church -> New Age Salvation Doctrines -> New Security teachings

New Age ETERNAL SECURITY "REGARDLESS" OF BEHAVIOR

This is not Arminius's and not Calvin's eternal security of the believer. This is not the eternal security of the Reformation and our forefathers but a totally new doctrine. It is not that a true practicing saint will in the end of his life still be a practicing saint and go to Heaven. It says that you can be a secret saint after even a secret prayer and never ever make an outward profession of Christ in any way, live and die in an outward life of sin as a total reprobate, and still go to Heaven. This is entirely new, never before taught in all of the church history.

One may quickly ask, what is so new about the eternal security regardless of behavior teaching? It is totally new because Calvin and Arminius both agreed that only those who persevere go to Heaven, and so did all the early church elders and evangelists and preachers before and after them. Yes, they all agreed that all must persevere. Their argument was about "Who among the born again (saints) will persevere?" All or some?

Calvin's teaching that all saints would persevere became known as "eternal security of the believer (a present tense believing one)," regardless of behavior, or "once saved always saved" (won't backslide). Arminians believe also in the "eternal security of the believer" (a present tense believing one), but not necessarily "once saved always saved." (could develop an evil heart of unbelief by sinning and not persevere). We must note, however, that Arminius himself was undecided as to whether a person could lose his salvation. This was added to the letter of Remonstrance to the church of Holland after Arminius had died, stating that they could lose their salvation.

Calvin taught that all true saints have "eternal security" in that only those who would persevere in Holiness in the end of their lives were the true saints. Some Arminians taught that some true saints may backslide in their walk, develop an evil heart of unbelief, and without repentance of this, die in their sins and go to Hell. They both believed that only the saints that persevere in their walk of Holiness and profession go to Heaven. And until the new teachings of Darby, all Christendom believed in perseverance of the saints, that is, that a Christian's outward life and testimony must be theirs at the end.

Additionally, eternal security regardless would have been unthinkable to Luther, Zwingli, Calvin, Arminius, and all the great church leaders after the apostles and all the great preachers, even in the early years of America. Jonathan Edwards, Charles Finney and Dwight Moody and Billy Sunday would never countenance a conversion without outward manifestation of a life of Holiness yielded in surrender to their Master. But now in Modern America, we are taught that a "Christian" can have an outward profession and total life as a heathen and still go to Heaven "regardless." This is the New Age "eternal security regardless," most aptly described, we believe, as "grace" regardless.

Definition

These new teachings coming out of Dallas (DTS) graduates say that, "Nobody need persevere." There are no conditions except to initially simply affirm and trust the implications and historical data about Christ and His promise and you get a non-cancellable ticket for His free gift of Heaven, no need for perseverance, or faith, or anything else, and you will avoid persecution and suffering "from God"(?) during the Tribulation. Once saved always saved, regardless. There is no need to accept Him as Lord and no need to follow Him or His teachings in any way. No moral necessity is laid upon the person at all. This is a NEW AGE gospel, another gospel, in these last days. THIS IS  Godless APOSTASY !!

Amazingly, not wishing to burden people with repentance, Lordship, and discipleship as necessary for salvation, they also add that every natural unregenerate man walks around with the gift of faith within himself, all he needs is to "exercise" his own faith for his salvation. And then as to add jabbering to existing insanity, they loudly proclaim that this salvation is a free gift by the grace of God and not of works. They call this the gospel of "grace" ministry of the finished work of Christ. It sure does finish it, it puts it to death.

This is "another gospel" that is now taught by the scholars following the teachings of Dallas Theological Seminary (DTs). If the distortions of Dispensationalism with pre-tribulation rapture and eternal security regardless (of behavior) were not enough, the Professors and scholars of Dallas Theological Seminary, have come up with new and exciting inventions. Let us summarize them as briefly as clarity allows.
