Concerning a System of Theology

Introduction

Systematic Theology     A Christian of some long time who cannot give a reasoned plain scriptural answer for all his doctrinal beliefs, without allegories (first defined and promoted by Origen),  or without deductive thinking (first defined and promoted by Aristotle) with unscriptural assertions, without internal contradictions found only by inductive thinking ("scientific thinking," first defined and promoted by Sir Francis Bacon in 1601 and 1607), or unanswered questions, has been either a lazy or a deceived person, regardless of his position in life.

Those who boast that they only believe the "truths" of the Word even though they boast in their lack of understanding of what they teach in relation to other "truths" in the scriptures (lack of a systematic understanding) are great anachronisms.

They are anachronisms
because they belong to the times before "God said let there be light. And there was light." No matter the amount of guerrilla dust that they throw into the air, they are not exemplary to those who wish to "give a reason of the hope that is within them." They likewise do injustice to Him Who said, "But the anointing which ye have received of Him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is Truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in Him (1 John 2:27)." A personal systematic theology without internal contradictions and unanswered questions in doctrine is a test of anyone being a disciple of Him, the Living Word of God.

Additionally, these same ones say, "It is truth only because I believe it," admitting it seems contradictory to other scriptures, are in serious intellectual trouble. "Collapsing 'truth' into 'belief' has serious consequences as to one's theory of knowledge."1 Truth then becomes whatever one wishes to believe. Although the person allowing antinomies or unanswered questions concerning doctrine in their beliefs may be sincere, they do not comprehend the position they are demonstrating to others. Those taking their example may not mince words and be more candid in saying, "I believe whatever I also choose to believe, and that is truth to me."

We are sure that sincere preachers do not wish their apologetics to justify or mislead anyone in this manner. This is why the need of a personal integrated systematic doctrinal theology from scripture only, without antinomies (contradictions) or redefinitions of plain words simply by assertion or by unanswered questions, should be the backbone of every Christian's apologetics. Without this ONLY self-arrogance is showing.

Finally, to reason as some do by Traditional Naturalistic Apologetics (Classical Apologetics) upon any basis of science, history, logic, or philosophy is thoroughly and ultimately frivolous and vain.   This form of apologetics only sells a lot of books for those hawking such a pursuit.   This only establishes man in his own self-frustration (perhaps, not altogether bad). Pure chance and fate of chance are natural man's only explanation of order. Man can't explain the human mind or soul origin or even life. He is totally unable to even explain the intricate atomic or even the visible organized matter of animals and man. "The whole notion of 'giving reasons' is completely destroyed by an ontology other than the Christian one. The Christian claims that only after accepting the Biblical scheme of things will any man be able to understand and account for his own rationality." 2

Man shall not live by bread alone but by every Word of God (Matthew 4:4). Putting down every high thing that exalts itself above the Word of God (2 Cor10:5). These high things include Naturalistic Apologetics as described, as well as imaginations and assertions from the preferences of men by using allegorical interpretations of scripture as all Dispensationalists today.  Proper Hermeneutics as described in our article on Hermeneutics prevents using these "high things."  For the things of the Spirit of God are foolishness to natural man, neither can he know them (1 Cor. 2:14).

A Systematic Theology

PRIMARILYa systematic Theology must be logical (only inductive thinking). In Western societies, logical implies rational, the way the normal human mind works, because we believe that anything rational (worthy of belief) must conform to rules of logic as discerned and detailed in Western societies, first discerned by Aristotle, who first formulated such rules, but unfortunately only an exercise Syllogistic Form, called deductive reasoning.3   see footnote.    It was left to Francis Bacon in 1607 in England to detail an understanding of seeking reality (Truth) in conceptual thinking, called inductive reasoning.  It was Francis Bacon's teachings, concerning Truth or reality in our existence, that we came out of the dark ages in what came to be called, scientific thinking.

A.  Contradictions cannot be allowed. The reason a systematic Theology must be logical is because man was created as a rational being, a logical being.  This is a given, in all human experience.  It is built into man's very intellectual being that if there is any contradiction perceived between facts or as facts to a conclusion that are supposed to be supportive of a conclusion, that something is "wrong," that the conclusion is not being supported and may actually be in error.  All humans are born with this innate intellectual understanding.   Even a little child cannot instinctively trust such a conclusion.  It would frighten a little child, for instance, to be told to go somewhere with a "kind" stranger whom he saw viciously kick a little dog.  It would be a contradiction even to the little child.

Experientially,  this innate understanding, of first established facts relating to an ultimate conclusion without any contradictions, has been so extensively confirmed  as true in man's experience, that in 1607 Sir Francis Bacon proposed this as a basis of all scientific reasoning.   It is termed "scientific" thinking even today.     It is upon this solid basic that all science and rational progress has been made in all societies.  Indeed, it may be said that, no other Law has been so established in the affairs of natural man than this LAW of NON-CONTRADICTION.

Formally stated, the Law of Non-Contradiction is: "x cannot be non-x and x at the same time and in the same sense."    A corollary of this rule is that of Law of Consistent Comparisons is: "facts relating to the same conclusion cannot be contradictory between themselves or to the conclusion."   All societies throughout the world are based upon these experientially established innate laws of human understandings of correct conclusions.

And upon the discernment of these basic rules, many other rational understandings of reasoning fallacies of allowing Ambiguous facts or Assumption fallacies or so-called logical syllogisms of progress of deriving a conclusion.  These need not be addressed here, but only to detail them as applicable within this realm of rational considerations of forming conclusions.   For applications of them, see article, Hermeneutics, in this website.

B.  Only Inductive Thinking concerning concepts is rational or logical
Refer to college or university Books on Logic to learn the truth about deductive thinking and inductive thinking.  What is taught in Seminaries about logic is entirely false and uninformed.  There are only two types of reasoning that are possible for a human being:

Deductive Thinking
, dealing with first rote memorized rules applied to only managing material objects, such as driving a car, flying an airplane, paying bills, using computers, playing games, etc; additionally, there is no means of change or growth in knowledge by this method, except to learn more assertions about more material handling processes; and

Inductive Thinking
, only dealing with concepts by applying the Law of Non-contradiction and all the aspects mentioned previously, in order to arrive at an absolute factual conclusion as possible, always subject to change as new applicable facts are later found.

To apply Deductive Thinking of first rote memorizing something (as doctrines or interpretations) as an applicable rule and then applying that to any assumed applicable concepts is not appropriate reasoning. It is irrational reasoning, since Deductive Thinking is not applicable to concepts, only to using material objects such as driving a care or plowing a field.

To simple assert a conclusion of meaning at the start and then manage (interpret) all the conceptual objects accordingly to support the original conclusion is deductive thinking.  It is not a valid means of only drawing a conclusion after finding all non-contradictory concepts applicable, as only Inductive Thinking does.    As greatly detailed in the article, Hermeneutics, in this website, Deductive Thinking is not appropriate reasoning concerning concepts of Theology or doctrines or anything concerning the concepts of the Bible.  This is axiomatic, self evident, to any rational being....who would really think about it.

However, sadly, most people today have never really thought about this.  They never were taught by the Holy Spirit, because they never approached the Bible "as little children" trying to learn to even read, as they would have been taught, to read and understand the Bible by this method.   Instead, they learned doctrines by hearing doctrinal cliches and catchy interesting statements by well meaning but errant Bible teachers, who were taught the same errant thinking.  Their entire lives have been totally lived in an airy-fairy land of deductive nonsense, thinking themselves to be wise.

Our Lord said, "Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein" (Luke 18:17).  Whoever among us set out to learn what the Bible said by endeavoring to learn the meaning of its individual words first, as a little child has to learn to read, endeavoring to be led by the Holy Spirit as to how the Word itself says to do it?

Remember, God's word is literal, except for obvious figures of speech or allegories or parables, His Word must be read literally as a little child.  Our God plainly says what He means, and means what He says.  God's Word is as clear and pure as transparent glass, without one flaw or imperfection.  We, in a world of the satan, have the problem.

Teaching someone to learn doctrines or teachings first from an esteemed teacher or Bible School or reading books from your Christian bookstore, and then apply them to make the scriptures understandable is right from the devils rule book of games for sophisticated worldly people.  It is teaching Deductive Thinking of demons for concepts, doctrines of demons.
(1)  Applying deductive thinking by first learning (asserting) any doctrine and then interpreting all seeming applicable teaching in the Bible according to the first memorized doctrine is manifest irrationality of the devil influencing their darkened blinded thinking.  This is obvious Deductive Thinking concerning concepts.  This is axiomatic, self evident, to any rational being.  But whoever has thought about it, in our headlong rush to knowledge.

This means that one simply may make any starting assertion and then interpret all scriptures according to your starting assertion.  This makes any such demonic interpretation self justifying and never wrong.  The devils perfect tool.  Some call this circular thinking.  The snake with his tail in his mouth.  And additionally, those who practice this can never change, as long as they insist in this method of thinking, because there is no built in means of change or growth, as there is in Inductive Thinking of the Holy Spirit.

(2)  Applying Deductive Thinking by first asserting a local context meaning and then interpreting a single word meaning within that context to mean something to support the first interpreted local context is irrational reasoning, since such Deductive Thinking is not applicable to concepts, only to material objects.

This is an especially irrational horrible teaching of interpretation because defining a single word by imposing an assumed local context meaning, would mean that the same word found in another place in scripture (local context) would likewise be assigned another definition often disparate to the first or twentieth meanings so derived.  This is not only self-evident irrational deductive confusion, it makes a mockery of God's Pure Monadic Holy Word to mean anything any man may wish it to mean.  By this means all cults, apostasies, and heresies may be thereby supported using God's Holy Word.   Demons must rejoice at this !!

Unfortunately, these two blind demonic methods are taught as the only means to correctly interpret God's Word, or find a meaning of any single word in scripture in every Seminary and Bible School of America for the past century or more.  No wonder our churches and society are now pagan and Godless today.  Consequently, sincere people have no way of knowing what the absolute Truth of the Bible can possibly be.

Blinded Men This Biblical term indicates that the term "blinded" refers to not understanding the Bible or the ways of God.  God allows man, who chooses other than God's way, to think irrationally.  This means that man by deception or choice, energized by some pleasing flesh considerations, deliberately chooses to think irrationally, by Deductive Thinking concerning concepts of the Holy Word and of God.    So God "gives them up" to believe lies.  Thereafter, a man cannot possibly understand God's Word written for a little child to understand.  They are blinded, whether worldly Theologians or not.

Natural Man Natural man after the fall of Adam, turned out of the Garden only with a retained "right" of choice, could no longer know to choose anything more that what he thought would benefit himself.  This is what he chose when be disobeyed God and the comprehensions only coming from his former fellowship with God.  He chose a fellowship with the thinking of satan, Deductive Thinking, self blinding thinking, so that he could no longer comprehend a rational God, nor choose anything pleasing to him again.

Only by becoming as a little child again in repentance and committing to God's Lordship again, can man have any chance of comprehending God again, except as a little child he starts all over again learning through the Holy Spirit what God's Word teaches and how to read and interpret it as it plainly teaches.  All things thereby become new, even the little child's way of understanding His Word by Inductive Thinking.

This also implies that a person who truly repents and commits to Lord Jesus Christ may again regress to Deductive Thinking, by regressing in his flesh self-pleasing deductive thinking, believing that God given faith is just using your own intellect as usual, regardless of God's provisions or intentions.  These might be likened to those where the seed took root in stony-ground or thorny-ground soils as told by our Lord, but no True Life was ever evident to Him.
The Word of God cannot be illogical, non-conforming to Laws of Logic. If the Word of God is written for man to believe then it is only "rational" to assume that God would tell us of Himself in a means that would not violate the mentality in which he has created us.

Also, if the Word of God could not possibly be rational to a man's understanding, this would be a contradiction in itself.
(1)  Because God would not be communicating to man in a manner that man could rationally understand.   Natural man, lost in deductive thinking, can only understand by means of the Holy Spirit of God, and then the One Triune God Holy Spirit would be communicating to man in a manner that man was originally created to rationally understand.  This means of understanding God was provided by our Lord in His Atonement of us.   See Atonement in this website.

(2)
Also, irrationality of God's Word, would imply that the written Word of God was not intended to restore natural man to Himself, as the Holy Spirit of God would illuminate his understanding to rational thinking.  This is the purpose of the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: be repenting and be committing to Lord Jesus Christ.
Only Logical or rational thinking can understand God's Word, made possible only by the Holy Spirit of Christ. This is one of the reasons Christ said, "Ye must be born-from-above."
FINALLY, a Systematic Theology must be totally self authenticating and totally integrated, with every teaching (doctrine) being thoroughly supportive and confirmatory for every other teaching within itself.

To be otherwise, would violate the rational Laws of Logic, instituted by God for man's understanding of Him.

This also means that our Creator God Himself is entirely comprehensible to Himself, self originating, as just such a Rational Being also.  He is just not some pagan inscrutable God, governed by unfathomable whims, to suit His own emotion driven pleasures. He has no relation to a man's flesh nature whatsoever with all these attributes.

These flesh nature attributes are attributive only to the satan himself, the very antithesis of our Creator Lord God of all existence and being.  The satan's thinking is always and only deductive thinking.

But beyond the epistemology of human thinking and God's thinking, anything written by our God would, therefore, be totally and perfectly conforming to all such Laws of Rationality from the beginning, originating only from such a Perfect Monadic (one of a kind) Being.

This would mean that every word within anything given by our God would only contain words of one possible meaning, every word of a meaning distinct and separate from the meaning of every other single word used.  Each word with one specific and separate meaning only, a separated Monadic (Holy) Word throughout.    Characteristics not found in any other writing in the world.

Only then could the written Word be considered equivalent to the Living Word, as, "In the beginning was the Word (logos) and the Word was with God and the Word was God..And the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us."   The written Word as communication and God the Word are thus equivalent.  Monadic, one of a kind, but multiple of many spirits, monadic spirits, in Heaven, in his chosen Saints, Holy Ones, as God is Holy, effected on earth by God's Holy Spirit.  All Praise and Glory to God !  AMEN

[[[   Otherwise, it is confusion of the satan, in whom is no Truth, no rationality, no stability, all blindness, all self-worship, in his private world system, structured to deceive all men, and insanely trying to make himself as God Himself.  Insanity is the name, deductive thinking of the satan is the game. Assertion, assertion, assertion.  I will, I will, I will.............(Isa 14; Ezek 28)

As Solomon wrote throughout Ecclesiastes, (the whole world system) "All is vanity," empty self-worship, in all the world system of the satan (rebeller).  Think.  Every thing in our "normal" living is self-worship in this world.  This should be breath-taking and profoundly bewildering to any thinking person Born-from-Above.  Think about this.   It should reorient our Living.  ]]]

One Monadic (one of a kind) Meaning given to each word
, otherwise none of His Words could be considered Holy, separate.   Additionally, we are told, and it would only be rational, that our God is not the author of confusion, because anything else would not be rational nor could be rationally comprehended.

So instead of having many meanings for each separate Word, as explained from irrationally employing deductive thinking to scripture, we must only look for the one meaning of each word which would make sense in every context in which the one word it used.  Then and only then can we assume that we are near the meaning intended by our God in His Writings to us.

One self-confirming integrated whole
, can then only be evident. This means that every Doctrine properly derived by inductive reasoning will be totally supportive and explanatory of every other Doctrine (teaching), with no contradictions or questions arising.  And all such individual Doctrines would be totally explanatory and supportive of every Attribute of God with no contradiction or questions arising.

This arises not from a strained effort upon the part of God nor upon any human interpreter, but because such a Rational God with Restored Man Created in His Own Image, can Only Truly each find self expression and comprehension in such Writing.    Amen.....Amen.

Verily I Say unto you, Whosoever shall not Receive the Kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise Enter therein.
