1. Introduction -> New Age Society -> Today's Society

We See the Year 2000 and Beyond
As Judge Robert Bork's book aptly put it in 1996, America is "Slouching Towards Gomorrah."1 Indeed an alarming number of moral and cultural problems have exploded in our country since 1960. According to William Bennett's index of leading cultural indicators in 1998, violent crime has risen 550 percent; births to unwed mothers are up 400 percent; teenage suicide has risen 300 percent; divorce has doubled; and the average S.A.T. score has fallen 73 points (this despite a doubling in education funding). Meanwhile the population of the United States has risen only 41 percent.2 What has caused this?

Our United States Supreme Court3

Since WWII and especially 1960, national morality became the target for Godless people in this country. In our government, there has been a two-pronged attack through the Supreme Court.

First--It made Atheistic Humanism the Supreme Religion of the Land.

It all started in 1947. In 1947 the Supreme Court in Everson v. Board of Education (arbitrarily contrary to the First Amendment of the Constitution) stated that there was to be a wall of "separation of church and state." This was a drastic change. Before this anything that restricted school prayer was an open violation of the First Amendment. It completely reversed the First Amendment plainly, "nor to prohibit the free exercise thereof." Since then the Supreme Court made many laws on its own against its Christian heritage, and contrary to the Constitution and the Bill of rights. But our Congress, against its Constitutional mandate, has allowed it to continue. Based upon this change we then had a number of similar unconstitutional rulings starting in 1961.

1961 Torcaso v. Watkins. Recognized Secular Humanism as a religion, even though it denies there is a God. This justifies the atheistic Humanist Manifesto I (1933) and II (1976) which have maintained that Humanism is a religion. Manifesto I, page 9, says that "Nothing human is alien to the religious."4 This decision completely reversed Commonwealth v. Abner Kneeland, 1838, Supreme court ruling that said that the First Amendment religious protection extends only to believers in God, not atheists.

1962

No prayer in schools. Engle v. Vitale 370 U.S. 113 USSC On June 25, 1962 in Engel v. Vitale the US Supreme Court used the "separation of church and state" argument as its basis for banning prayer in public schools. Their decision marked the turning point in the interpretation of the First Amendment. In the case, the U.S. Supreme Court ignored 170 years of history, legal precedent, and the clear intent of First Amendment, by interpreting the Establishment Clause to prohibit religious activities in public settings. The 1962 ruling was the first case in Supreme Court history that did not cite any previous legal precedents in making its decision. Within a year of the court's ruling Bible reading, religious classes, and religious instruction in public schools were also declared unconstitutional.

It is important to take note that the words "separation of church and state" are not found anywhere in the U.S. Constitution, the Bill of Rights, or even the Declaration of Independence. That phrase comes from a letter written by Thomas Jefferson to the Danbury Baptist Association. Furthermore, the "wall of separation between church and state" that Jefferson referred to in his letter was clearly meant to protect religious freedom and to prevent government from attempting to take away our God-given unalienable rights.11

1963

No Bible reading in schools.
Abington Township v. Schempp 374 U.S. 203 USSC+ The court actually said that reading portions of the New Testament might be "psychologically harmful" to children. This completely contradicted the Supreme Court of 1844, Vidal v. Girard's Executors which said: "Why may not the Bible , and especially the New Testament......be read and taught as a divine revelation in the school?....Where can the purest principles of morality be learned so clearly or so perfectly as from the New Testament?" Ironically, the schools in America were established to teach children to read the Bible.

1980 No Ten Commandments posted in government schools. Stone v. Graham This despite the fact that the Ten Commandments are engraved over the chief Justice's head, and the giver, Moses, is the chief figure on the wall of the chamber of the House of Representatives.

1987 No mention must be made of a supernatural being who created mankind Edwards v. Aguillard U.S. 482 U.S. 578 USSC+ Any reference to a creation or a Creator is obviously religious in nature and therefore, unconstitutional "establishment of religion." The implications of these above laws clearly mean that the Supreme Court had in effect said:
  1. The Constitution of the United States was unconstitutional in our government schools. (Even the wording of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights declare our dependence upon a Creator and Creation.)
  2. Secular Humanism is the de facto established religion of the land. By its efforts to prevent the establishment of theism , the Court established atheism (Secular Humanism) as the religion of the land.
  3. The Supreme Court for almost two centuries of its rulings was wrong when it declared:
    1. First Amendment religious protection extends only to believers in God , not atheists. Commonwealth v. Abner Kneeland, 1838.
    2. Bible reading is good for children. Vidal v. Girard's Executors 1844.
    3. We should rest on Sundays because it is "the day of the Resurrection." City of Charleston v. S. A. Benjamin, 1846.
    4. "We are a Christian people." United States v. Macintosh, 1931
    5. The First Amendment does not require government hostility to religion. Our people and institutions "presumes a Supreme Being." Zorach v. Clauson, 343 U.S. 306 (1952) (USSC+)
We may be sure that at least one branch of government believes in legislating morality (being anti-morals). It is precisely the Supreme Court that has no Constitutional basis for legislating anything. These rulings as new laws are entirely unconstitutional, both in origin and substance. But our legislators that profess moral integrity and honesty allow this breach of the Constitution that they are sworn to uphold. They allow the Supreme Court to make laws which power is given only to Congress by the Constitution. Evil deceitful workers all.

Second--Supreme Court Actually Began Promotes Immorality.

But this arbitrary outlawing of Christianity by invention of "separation of church and state" is not the only Supreme Court attack on morality which Congress has allowed the godless to do. It also instituted another invention that is being used to actively promote immorality, the "right to privacy."

1965 In Griswold v. Connecticut the Supreme Court invented a "right to privacy" despite the fact that there is no mention of "privacy" in the Constitution. This is a landmark case used to justify immorality, never before accepted in our courts and laws.

1973

Roe v. Wade 410 U.S.159, 737, which said the right to privacy in Griswold includes the private right to abort children. With that kind of thinking you could kill your wife and claim Griswold as a private right to do so. The fourteenth Amendment states that the States shall not "deprive any person of life, liberty , or property, without due process of law; nor deny any person within it's jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws." At the time the Fourteenth Amendment was written, (1) there were legal references to the unborn as a "child," and the dictionaries of the time defines a fetus as a "child in the womb," (2) an abortion for 200 years was called "manslaughter and given the same range of punishments as killing the mother, and (3) the Supreme Court in 1970, just three years before Roe v. Wade, in Steinberg v. Ohio called the unborn a "person" protected under the Fourteenth Amendment.

Justice William Rhinquist wrote, in dissent of a 7 to 2 decision that passed Roe v. Wade, that the Courts illegitimate reasoning "partakes more of judicial legislation than it does of a determination of the intent of the drafters of the Fourteenth Amendment....To reach its result, the Court necessarily has had to find within the scope of the Fourteenth Amendment a right that was apparently completely unknown to the drafters of the Amendment."

1999 The lesbians and homosexuals have been lobbying for years upon the basis of Griswold that consenting adults have the right to do as they wish, marry, cohabit, and receive government or retirement or sickness benefits as married. Undoubtedly, they will eventually obtain these privileges as our society and government continue to become reprobate and rejected for judgment.

Because our Supreme Court has made these rulings clearly and totally contrary to our Constitution, and Congress has totally ignored its ability and responsibility to stop it, since 1947, and particularly since 1961, people have known little more than a godless evil influence in this country. Their minds are now so corrupted that they have little or no concept of right or wrong. In 1985, an attorney in all sincerity asked us what being moral meant.

Our Presidency and Vice President were opposed to Fundamentalism (1990).

President Clinton and Vice President Gore have openly denigrated the moral and religious values of our Founding Fathers and those who wish to follow the Bible for which our public schools were founded to teach and used as the basis for teaching morality to our children.

In view of the shameless lies and behavior of our Presidents, school teachers should rightfully and blushingly tell their students that they cannot tell them what takes place in the highest office in our land until they reach 21 years of age.5   But this is openly taught to public kindergarten students today.

President Clinton reportedly told Mexican novelist Carlos Fuentes in August 1995: "My only enemy is right-wing Fundamentalism."6 The Vice President Gore who fosters occult Wiccan Spiritism (witchcraft) in his book stated, ""Refusing to accept the earth as our sacred mother, these Christians have become a dangerous threat to the survival of humanity. They are the blight on the environment and to believe in Bible prophecy is unforgivable."7

This wickedness in the highest office of our land, was openly justified by our Congress who refused to impeach the president and even supported such a Vice President to run for President. Wickedness rules in our land, openly and brazenly.

Hopefully, a new president and administration will bring this country back from the edge of the abyss of Hell, but this would require a total and open repentance by our society. This is not likely. As a society, we accept and welcome evil as "loving."

"Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil........Therefore, is the anger of the Lord kindled against His people" (Isa. 5:20-25). America must no longer assume that God will protect it from its enemies, as before. American society now has a reprobate mind but thinks it is wise and has need of nothing.

Our Public School System According to the special committee in 1958 to investigate Tax-exempt Foundations, "Theoretically a society could be completely made over in something like 15 years, the time it takes to inculcate a new culture into a rising crop of youngsters."8 A nationally syndicated columnist Thomas Sowell says, "If every parent in America knew what was really going on in the public schools , there would be a revolution."9 (I doubt it. Do they care?)

After the Columbine School killings of 20 students, 1 teacher, 2 suicides, and 50 wounded on April 21, 1999, President Clinton in his regular Saturday radio address said of the rash of in-school killings: "We must face up to the fact that these are more than isolated incidents. They are symptoms of a changing culture...." Our culture--our total way of living of one generation being passed to the next generation--is changing.

A person might say, "So what, all change is a part of life!" But we are talking about the "culture" of America which makes us distinct from the rest of the world. We are not talking about an Industrial Revolution or any of the other changes in the United States since it's inception 340 years ago. We are talking about our morals, our mores, and our social and government institutions that have made us distinctively "citizens of the United States."

"No influence is greater than that of America's schools, except the family. Children spend over thirty hours a week in school during thirteen of their most formative years. Education goals and what is taught and how it is taught have changed in the last 65 years. It was [systematically] done by a group of education "reformers" who over 65 years ago said they would use the schools to produce "a new social order."10 These changes have transformed how we think and live today.

See John Stormer's book, None Dare Call it Education, a documented account of how education "reforms" are undermining academics and traditional values. He documents how our children are not only being deliberately and systematically "dumbed down" but how the best and the brightest are being "brainwashed" by special educational opportunities provided to them.

These brightest of our children are made to think of themselves as elitists whose new understanding is above their parents and others. By these tactics our culture has changed, and now in speed is geometrically changing more.
Today, We are in a New Age Culture, fashioned by our God Defying Government and Courts, starting in 1947.

Today, is only 60-70 years later, since these Supreme Court decisions and our educational changes have begun. Questions may be asked that are disturbing and, yet, we all know the answer. Why is it that abortions, homosexuality, immorality, and now the philosophy of relativism are politically and publicly accepted? Why is it that public displays of fornication, adultery, murders, every debauchery of man, and even the worship of satan is being transmitted to us by TV 24 hours a day? Why are cartoon programs for little children today filled with the practices and beliefs of witchcraft, spiritualism's of all types, and little more than violence continually?

Why does singing today praise the evils of murder, immorality, and satan? Why is the excessively loud music always with a primitive beat rhythm predominating? Seldom today is the melody of music preeminent as it used to be. Hardly, can any melody be heard even when there is singing. Why the hand clapping to this beat music even in churches? The sweet melodies of such rich meaning are all but gone to the jungle beat of rhythm. See Appendix F for the origin and effect of rhythm beats.

Why is it that prayers, moral citizenship, and even the mention of the word "Christian" frowned upon in our schools? Sundays are now a day to go shopping and to get the yard work done. Why waste time in any church? Besides, "Is there a God?" Anyone can now publicly burn our flag with impunity? Again, this is the work or our Supreme Court, educational system, and a self-seeking godless Congress. By the old Christian standards, we have become a reprobate society compared to just fifty years ago. We are certainly no longer a Christian nation.

In May, 2009, President Obama declared June a LGBT month, to be celebrated yearly.  This is a time for celebrating throughout the land, Lesbians, Gays, Bisexuals, and Transexuals.      Unwed mothers are now considered a norm. In 2007, over 40% of children are born out of wed-lock.   Homosexuality is politically considered genetic, and is beginning to be taught in kindergartens.

Government support is given to immorality of all types. Godlessness and immorality are openly applauded and cheered by most people. Lying and fraud is the course of everyday business and even condoned in Schools of Business today. Deceit and lying are considered expected business and social realities for normal human interaction. Today, Christianity and any insistence on moral behavior is not considered socially acceptable.
